Military personnel of the Zapad group of forces destroyed a 105 mm L-119 howitzer of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Kharkiv region. This was announced by the Russian Defense Ministry on June 30.

The ministry clarified that the reconnaissance unit of the 1st Guards Tank Army of the Zapad group of forces had discovered an enemy L-119 howitzer firing position camouflaged in a wooded area in the Kharkiv region.

"The detected target was promptly destroyed by the calculation of the Lancet barrage ammunition," the message says.
