The new iCaur car brand began to be registered in Russia

The application for registration of the iCaur trademark appeared in the open database of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property (FIPS), Izvestia noted.

The iCaur trademark is registered according to the 12th class of the International Classification of Goods and Services (ICTS), which includes cars, among other things. The application was received by Rospatent on June 27.

The company's press service announced earlier in June that the new Chinese car brand iCaur will be introduced to the Russian market in 2026. Russia is among the top ten priority markets, the company said. The brand's model range includes electric crossovers (BEV) and sequential hybrids (REEVS).

In China, these cars are known as iCar, and in a number of markets they are sold under the more familiar brands Chery and Jaecoo. The iCar brand was launched in the spring of 2023. Its crossovers are distinguished by angular body shapes and off-road styling.
