The Meshchansky District court of Moscow sentenced William, the son of Russian actor Vadim Demchog, to a penal colony in a fraud case. This was announced on June 30 by the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the capital.
"By the verdict of the Meshchansky District Court of Moscow, Demchog William Vadimovich was found guilty of committing a crime under Part 4 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," the Telegram channel says.
It is specified that the court sentenced the defendant to two years in a penal colony.
On March 5, the Moscow City Court upheld the verdict of actor Vladimir Soshalsky's son, Vladimir Soshalsky Jr. He was found guilty under Parts 3 and 4 of Articles 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Illegal sale of narcotic drugs on a large scale"). It was noted that in December last year, the Ostankino District Court of Moscow sentenced Soshalsky Jr. to 11 years in a high-security penal colony.
