In Krasnoyarsk, a 7-year-old boy died in a fall from a window.

A seven-year-old boy fell out of a fifth-floor window in Krasnoyarsk. The child , according to the press service of the Main investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory and the Republic of Khakassia.

The tragedy occurred on Sunday, June 29, in a high-rise building on Koroleva Street. The minor is staying in the apartment with his mother and grandmother.

At some point, the boy went to the kitchen to drink water. The window in the room was ajar. It is assumed that the child sat on the windowsill and fell out. He died from his injuries.

A criminal case has been opened under the article "Causing death by negligence," writes KrasnoyarskMedia news agency.

Earlier in May, a similar case occurred in Moscow. A one-year-old girl fell out of the apartment window of a residential building located on Polbina Street. The child was in the apartment without the supervision of the mother.
