Law enforcement agencies began checking after a video with teenagers in Tolyatti who sang a song about the leader of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists (OUN, banned in the Russian Federation) Stepan Bandera and the anthem of Ukraine. On June 30, the Investigative Department (SU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in the Samara region informed about this.

Earlier, a video was posted online in which teenage graduates from Tolyatti allegedly sang a song about Bandera. Presumably, the footage was shot in Victory Park in Tolyatti.

"During the monitoring of social media, videos have been revealed showing illegal actions of teenagers in Tolyatti performing musical compositions containing signs of rehabilitation of Nazism," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to the instructions of Pavel Oleinik, head of the Russian Investigative Committee for the region, a criminal case was opened in accordance with Part 3 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Rehabilitation of Nazism"). At the moment, investigators are carrying out measures aimed at establishing all the circumstances of the incident and collecting evidence.

Earlier in the day, it was reported about the suppression of the activities of an extremist group consisting of teenagers. To promote his beliefs, the head of the community created an open messenger channel in which he published materials calling for violent actions against representatives of various religious and national groups.
