VK Fest in Kazan gathered 20,000 guests

VK Fest was held in Kazan on June 29. Tickets were sold out 2 days before the event. Basta, ZOLOTO, Three Days of Rain and the Culture Room performed for the audience. For the first time, a second stage was operating outside Moscow and St. Petersburg, where popular Tatar artists performed.

"It's nice to see that the Kazan Family Center, as the venue of the festival, has become the epitome of our values. I've met a lot of families with children, and I see how excited both parents and our youngest visitors are. 20,000 residents and guests of Tatarstan have become a part of our festival," Zoya Novikova, head of VK Fest, shared.

Basta, ZOLOTO, Alvin Gray, Yulia Savicheva, the bands Room of Culture, Three Days of Rain and BREAD performed on the musical stage. Kazan residents prepared gifts for the artists: a sculpture of Basta from chak-chak, an echpochmak with portraits of the band members, BREAD and a local drink for ZOLOTO. Yulia Savicheva was presented with a handmade pink skullcap. The hosts of the stage were the stars of "Natal Chart" Olesya Ivanchenko and Dmitry Zhuravlev.

Popular Tatar artists performed on the second stage: Nurminsky, GAUGA, "The Musician's Hut", Marat Yarullin, HOMAGE, Ilgiz & Malsi Music, Al Su, Elina. Autograph sessions were held at the VK Video booth with influencers: The guests took photos and chatted with VALYA CARNIVAL, Arseniy Popov, Anton Shastun, Dmitry Zhuravlev, Anya Pokrov, Utopia Show, ZHENYA LIZOGUB, MILANA NEKRASOVA and Guram Amaryan.

In the VK Lecture Hall, TV presenters Rosa Sabitova and Dmitry Zhuravlev discussed Tatarstan's family traditions. Head of the KAMAZ-master team Eduard Nikolaev, defender of the Ak Bars hockey club Artemiy Knyazev, captain of the Rubin football club Oleg Ivanov and Olympic champion, representative of the Zenit-Kazan volleyball club Maxim Mikhailov took part in a discussion on the development of sports in the republic. Artem Silkin, director of the Ostrov-Grad Sviyazhsk Museum-Reserve, Artem Laptev, brand chief of Fine Group, and Artur Galaichuk, founder of the ReLab bar chain, talked about the intertwining of traditions and innovations in Kazan.

For the youngest guests, there was a playground with animators, game consoles and other activities. Creative and scientific workshops were held for the guests. Fans of technological innovations could play the Innopolis University AI shooter, meet Skoltech experts and chat with the robots of the Bashir Rameev IT Park. Guests could also participate in Wow Quiz games and a quest from VK Communities, leave a profile on the VK Dating board and purchase merch from the VK Store. You could relax and take memorable photos in the lounge area of the Europa Plus radio station.

All the key clubs of Tatarstan participated in the sports zone. Master classes on slam dunk and basketball techniques were held on the site of BC UNICS. The Rubin football players talked and took pictures with the festival guests. Autographs were given by Zenit Kazan volleyball players, striker Mikhail Mikhailov and central blocker Artyom Volvich.

In 2025, VK Fest will be held in five cities of the country. Kazan became the third venue of the festival after Chelyabinsk and Sirius. VK Fest traveled from the capital of Tatarstan to St. Petersburg and Moscow. Tickets are available on vkfest.ru
