Andranik Grigoryan, a resident of Krasnodar, who shot dead a businessman in the city center in 2024, was sentenced to 16 years and 6 months in a high-security penal colony. This was reported on June 30 in the Joint Press Service of the courts of the Krasnodar Territory.
It is reported that on March 1, 2024, Grigoryan shot a man with his own hunting rifle in the center of Krasnodar. The motive for the crime was the money that the attacker owed the victim. In addition, bystanders could have been injured in the incident.
"The court sentenced Grigoryan to imprisonment for a period of 16 years and 6 months, with restriction of liberty for a period of 2 years. The convicted person should serve his sentence in a high—security penal colony," the statement said on the Telegram channel of the press service.
In addition, the court recovered 3 million rubles from Grigoryan in favor of the victims. The verdict has not yet entered into force.
