The sale of tickets on the new regular route "Moscow — Ples" has been opened. Buses depart from the Central bus station daily at 06:30 Moscow time, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"We are pleased to offer passengers a new destination that connects Moscow with one of the most picturesque cities in Russia. The route will allow Muscovites and guests of the capital to get to Ples in comfort and without transfers," Liksutov said. He added that the Moscow authorities continue to develop new routes from Moscow bus stations on behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

The launch of flights to Ples will improve the transport accessibility of the two cities. The new route makes it convenient to reach Ples on the banks of the Volga River, a city famous for its picturesque views, museums, art galleries and historical monuments, Liksutov noted.

Moscow bus stations are actively developing communication between the capital and the regions. You can buy tickets for inter-regional buses in the mobile application "Moscow Metro" in the "City" section in the "Buy a ticket for a long-distance bus" tab. You do not need to print out the ticket. To travel, it is enough to show it on the phone screen and present an identity document. You can also purchase tickets on the Moscow Metro website.

The Central bus station is located next to the Shchelkovskaya metro station. It operates more than 125 flights to 50 destinations daily. The routes cover the northern, northeastern and eastern regions. The bus station receives about 2.5 thousand passengers every day.
