A boy burned alive in an abandoned bathhouse in the Leningrad region
A boy burned alive in an abandoned bathhouse in the village of Perovo, Leningrad region. This was announced on June 30 by a source of Izvestia.
According to the source, two friends went into the building with a can of gasoline and planned to light the stove. They had a conflict, and one of them left.
"When [the boy] returned, he saw that everything was on fire and informed the emergency workers who arrived that his friend was in the building," the source said.
When the fire was extinguished, rescuers discovered that an 11-year-old child had died.
In turn, the mother of the surviving boy told Izvestia that the abandoned brick building was not fenced in, the children had set up a "headquarters" there.
The administration reported that the building was going to be put up for auction, but so far there have been no interested parties.
"The demolition option was not considered, it is better for us to sell the illiquid property and receive funds to the budget," Sergei Zakkiev, head of the Goncharovsky rural settlement, told Izvestia.
Earlier, on June 29, a source from Izvestia reported that a burning car was found in New Moscow, in which a human body was found after extinguishing. It is specified that the car was located near the railway station near the village of Tolstopaltsevo.
