The Telegraph learned about the British desire to abandon military support for Kiev

Supporters of both right-wing and left-wing views in the UK are inclined to abandon military support for Ukraine. This was reported on June 30 by The Telegraph newspaper with reference to the declaration of the British Railway, Maritime and Transport Trade Union (RMT).
The document speaks about the desire to abandon the policy of reducing social spending and lowering living standards in order to finance Kiev. According to the newspaper, both the right and left forces of the country believe that assistance to Ukraine will delay the negotiation process.
"Pouring billions into the war zone in Ukraine will not create conditions for peace negotiations, but will simply make it more difficult to achieve them," the article says.
Robert Skidelsky, a member of the House of Lords of the British Parliament, warned the West on June 29 against supplying Ukraine with more modern weapons. According to the politician, Europe is actually waging a "proxy war" against Russia. He recalled that even former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson acknowledged this fact.
