German Foreign Minister Johann Vadefuhl has arrived in Kiev. This was reported by the BILD newspaper on June 30.

"Negotiations between business representatives and Ukrainian decision makers will take place on the sidelines of the visit. The main focus is on unmanned aerial vehicles, as well as tanks and long—range weapons," the article says.

It is noted that this is his first official visit after taking office. Vadefulh plans to meet with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga.

On June 13, Sevim Dagdelen, a foreign policy expert at the Sarah Wagenknecht Union for Reason and Justice (SSV) party, said that German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius promised Zelensky a record amount of aid worth €1.9 billion during a visit to Kiev. Dagdelen added that at this time in Germany there are continuing problems with the infrastructure, the restoration of which could spend these resources.
