Medinsky called on the CIS countries to be honest with themselves and their history

Russia calls on the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to be honest with their history and themselves. This was announced on June 30 by Vladimir Medinsky, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation.

He stressed that Moscow does not and will not exert pressure on the CIS countries, and the work is based on a mutually respectful dialogue.

"We just urge them to be honest with themselves and history," Medinsky said in an interview with TASS.

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on June 21 that in the rapidly changing international situation, it is necessary to strengthen cooperation between the special services of the CIS countries. According to him, it is important to increase cooperation between law enforcement agencies, to conduct a constant exchange of experience and relevant information.
