A suspect in the murder of a man on a playground has been detained in Moscow. This was announced on June 30 by the capital's Main Investigation Department (GSU) of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia.

"A suspect in the murder of a man in the south-west of Moscow has been detained," the department's Telegram channel says.

According to the investigation, the criminal, while on Trade Union Street in Moscow, came into conflict with his friend and stabbed him at least four times. The victim died from his injuries.

After that, the person involved disappeared. However, he was detained and taken to the department of the capital's Investigative Committee for investigative actions. A criminal case has been opened against the suspect under Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Murder").

On June 28, a man was detained who tried to shoot his friend on Leninsky Prospekt. A criminal case has been opened on the grounds of a crime under Part 3 of Article 30, Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code ("Attempted murder") and Part 1 of Article 222 of the Criminal Code ("Illegal trafficking of firearms").
