In the Ussuriysk Bay of the Sea of Japan, the Achilles ship hit a fishing boat, two people ended up in the water. This was announced on Monday, June 30, by the press service of the Far Eastern Transport Prosecutor's Office.

"On June 29, in the Ussuriysk Bay, the Achilles ship, en route from the port of Vladivostok, hit the anchor cable of a fishing boat on the move. As a result of the jerk, two passengers of the small vessel ended up in the water," the agency said in a message on its Telegram channel.

It is specified that they were soon taken on board, the passengers of the vessel did not seek medical help.

The Prosecutor's office is establishing the circumstances of the incident.

Earlier, on June 4, the prosecutor's office launched an investigation into the fire on the Iceberg ship in the Sea of Japan. The prosecutor's office clarified that there were no casualties as a result of the incident.
