Protesters in Belgrade blocked the Gazela Bridge

In Belgrade, anti-government protesters blocked the Gazela Bridge, the central transport artery of the city. The corresponding footage is published by Izvestia on June 30.
"Barricades appeared here tonight, which completely blocked the bridge and all its interchanges," correspondent Sergei Petrov reported from the scene.
Barricades were also seen in other areas of the city. The total number of them exceeded 30 by midnight.
A calm situation is reported in the areas affected by the protests. Nevertheless, the authorities stated that they regarded the speeches as a manifestation of extremism.
Anti-government opposition protests began in Serbia after the events of November 2024, when 15 people died as a result of the collapse of the canopy of the railway station in Novi Sad. Shortly after the tragedy, Prime Minister Milos Vucevic and several other politicians resigned.
On the night of June 30, Milos Vucevic, the leader of the ruling Serbian Progressive Party (SPP), called on law enforcement officers to stop protesters blocking highways. Also, Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic said that the police would closely monitor the situation with the protests.
