Forecasters predicted a cold snap and heavy rain in Moscow on June 30

Cloudy, raining, sometimes heavy and up to +17 degrees — this weather awaits residents of the capital region on Monday, June 30. The corresponding forecast is published on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center.

The air temperature in Moscow will range from +15 to +17 degrees during the day. At night, the thermometer will drop to +10.

In the Moscow region, it will be from +12 to +17 degrees during the day, and at night the temperature may drop to +8.

A westerly, northwesterly wind with a speed of 7-12 m/s is expected, with gusts of up to 17 m/s in places.

The atmospheric pressure will be 729 mmHg.

Earlier, on June 29, Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, said that about half of the monthly precipitation rate would fall in Moscow in a week. According to him, up to 37-42 mm of precipitation will fall in Moscow, and up to 50-60 mm in the Moscow region. Heavy rains are forecast in the next three days, the forecaster added.
