The coach shared exercises to relieve tension in the body after the flight


Often during the vacation period, people fly on airplanes and at the same time often complain of tension in the body after a long journey. On how to relieve this tension on your own, June 30, "Gazeta.Ru" was told by Ekaterina Usacheva, the top coach of the group programs of the Pride Fitness fitness club network.
The coach recommended five exercises that will relieve tension, restore blood circulation and help get rid of puffiness and general fatigue that accompany a person after a flight.
The expert suggests starting such a warm-up with a tilt of the head.
"The first exercise is head tilts. It is necessary to tilt to the sides alternately 10 times," Usacheva shared.
Next, according to the trainer, you should perform circular movements with your shoulders back and forth 10-15 times. This helps to relieve tension from the upper back.
The following exercise helps to remove swelling from the legs.
"In a sitting or standing position, you need to lift your fingers and heels alternately, while holding them for a couple of seconds. You need to do the exercise 10 times," the expert recommended.
With the fourth exercise, Usacheva advised performing torso bends with twists also 10-15 times.
"For this exercise, you need to place your feet shoulder-width apart, bend your knees slightly, place your palms on the front of your thigh, and then, bending over, straighten your arms as much as possible and carefully start turning, directing your shoulder to the opposite knee," the specialist explained.
And the last exercise the trainer recommended was stretching. This helps to relieve tension from the shoulders and stretch the spine.
At the same time, Usacheva urged not to forget about consuming enough water, taking a contrast shower and sleeping soundly.
Earlier, on June 25, Anastasia Ozhgikhina, associate professor of the Department of Sports Management at Synergy University and an international hatha yoga instructor, said that yoga and meditation, as ancient practices, help establish a connection between body and mind, helping to reduce stress and restore internal balance. The specialist noted that yoga can be practiced at home.
