The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, spoke about the loss of 400 kg of enriched uranium after the US strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities. This was announced on Sunday, June 29, according to the Reuters news agency.

Following the attacks on Iran's three largest nuclear facilities last weekend, President Donald Trump said the facilities had been "destroyed" by American bunker buster bombs... However, the IAEA stated that it is not yet clear exactly what damage was caused to the Fordo plant," the material says.

And now the governments of Western countries are trying to find out what happened to more than 400 kg of uranium enriched to a level close to weapons-grade, according to the publication.

According to the IAEA estimates, this amount of raw materials, if enriched to a weapons-grade level, will be enough to create nine nuclear warheads.

On June 29, the Iranian authorities banned Grossi from entering nuclear facilities. According to Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic Hamid-Reza Haji Babai, the decision is due to the discovery of confidential information about the facilities in documents received from Israel.

On the same day, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio called Iran's calls for Grossi's arrest and execution unacceptable. This is how he commented on the material in the Iranian newspaper Kayhan, which is controlled by Iran's supreme leader Ali Khamenei.
