The Foreign Ministry spoke about the expectations of the Danish presidency of the EU Council

Russia has no positive expectations from Denmark as chairman of the EU Council, Vladislav Maslennikov, director of the Department of European Affairs at the Russian Foreign Ministry, told Izvestia.

How is this related to the United States and why are these states not ready to compromise with Russia?

"We do not have any positive expectations from Denmark, given its position towards Russia," Maslennikov told Izvestia.

Copenhagen will take over the presidency of the EU Council from July 1, 2025. Poland currently holds this position.
