The KGB of Belarus thwarted a drone attack on strategic facilities

The State Security Committee (KGB) of the Republic of Belarus conducted a special operation, during which it prevented attacks on strategic targets of the country using attack drones. This was announced on June 29 by ONT TV channel.

"The KGB conducted a multi-pronged special operation called the Harpoon. As a result, we managed to get the organizer of the group from abroad, who was preparing attack drones to literally blow up Belarusian strategic facilities," the publication says.

It is specified that the operation was carried out for 732 days.

On June 29, it was reported that security of the state border with Ukraine would be strengthened in Belarus. Konstantin Molostov, Chairman of the republic's State Border Committee, stressed that the situation on the country's borders remains "habitually tense" due to the provocative actions of neighbors from the south.
