The Kremlin called Kiev's position a key one in the negotiation dynamics on Ukraine

Moscow expects a third round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, and the negotiation process will largely depend on Kiev's position. This was announced on June 29 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov on the First Information TV channel.
"We are waiting for the third round of negotiations. We hope that in the very next few days the dates of the third round will be clear," he said.
Peskov also noted that the course of negotiations largely depends on Kiev's position, as well as on the efforts of the United States in mediation between states.
"A lot depends, of course, on the position of the Kiev regime," the diplomat said.
At the same time, he stressed that the Russian position is "well known." According to Peskov, during the negotiations it is necessary to take into account "the real state of affairs on earth."
On June 27, the Turkish Foreign Ministry announced its readiness to hold talks between Russia and Ukraine. The head of the department, Hakan Fidan, also commented on the positions of Russia and Ukraine before the start of the third round, noting that with proper mediation, the parties can find a compromise.
Earlier in the day, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the subject of upcoming negotiations with Ukraine would be the discussion of memoranda between the two countries.
