Guard Major Ruslan Fedorov performed the tasks of evacuating military equipment and personnel in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The Russian Ministry of Defense on Monday, June 30, told about the exploits of Russian servicemen in the area of the special military operation (SVO).

When a signal warning of missile danger sounded at the battalion's positions, Fedorov promptly organized the transfer of equipment and personnel of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation to reserve positions. The evacuation plan was developed by him in advance, so there were no difficulties in the process. When the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) launched a rocket artillery strike a few minutes later, the place they were aiming at was already empty. As a result, neither the equipment nor the Russian military personnel were injured.

The Russian Defense Ministry also noted the courage and bravery of Private Damir Gataullin, who was in the ranks of a motorized rifle unit operating in the territory of the DPR.

When Gataullin was carrying out the task of installing signal transmission and organizing communications, he came under enemy artillery fire. Despite the threat, the private decided to complete the task to the end. He managed to get to a point near the Ukrainian Armed Forces strongholds, where he installed a communication device, ensuring interaction between the advancing units.

Earlier, on June 20, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Guard Corporal Vladimir Zhukov, as part of a support group, was carrying out the task of delivering ammunition and food to Russian soldiers at the front lines when his convoy was attacked by a Ukrainian FPV drone.
