The prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into mass poisoning at a graduation in Perm.

An investigation has been launched into the mass poisoning at a graduation ceremony in one of the Perm institutions. This was announced on June 29 by the press service of the regional prosecutor's office in the Telegram channel.

"According to preliminary information, since June 25, 2025, more than a few cases of citizens applying to hospitals for medical help with signs of food poisoning have been registered," the statement said.

Currently, the establishment of circumstances, causes and conditions is under the control of the Prosecutor's Office.

We need an independent rating of establishments and more frequent inspections of cafes and restaurants, public activists say.

On June 27, three children were hospitalized in the Saratov region with signs of poisoning, but one of them died. A criminal case has been opened into the incident under Part 1 of Article 109 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Causing death by negligence").
