An elderly man died in a fire in a private house in the Bryansk region.

An elderly man died as a result of a fire in a private house in the town of Surazh, Bryansk region. This was announced on June 29 in the Main Directorate (GU) of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in the region.

"A 74-year-old man died in the fire. The cause of the incident is being established, an investigative and operational group is working on the spot," the department's Telegram channel added.

It is specified that two pieces of equipment were involved in the elimination of the fire.

On June 27, a fire broke out in a multi-storey building in Chita, in which a woman died. Five more adults and one child managed to be rescued.
