Two children were killed in an accident with a car and trucks in the Volgograd region.

Two children were killed in a collision between a car and two trucks in the Mikhailovsky district of the Volgograd region. This was announced on June 29 in the press service of the Main Directorate (GU) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.

"According to preliminary information, at about 19:00 Moscow time, an accident occurred on the 750th km of the R-22 Kaspiy highway involving a Lada Vesta car and Volvo and KamAZ trucks," the department's Telegram channel clarified.

According to the investigation, children born in 2015 and 2018 were transported in the cabin without special restraints. A pre-investigation check is being conducted on the fact of the accident, and the issue of initiating a criminal case is being resolved.
