In the Kursk region, two men were injured after drone attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in populated areas of the region. This was announced on June 29 by the acting head of the region, Alexander Khinshtein.

One of the enemy drones attacked the village of Sukhoi in the Rila region.

"A 48-year-old man was wounded: he has shrapnel wounds to his head, chest, arms and legs. There is a suspicion of a closed craniocerebral injury," Khinstein said in his Telegram channel.

The second drone strike hit the village of Kekino in the Glushkovsky district.

"The 47-year-old man also has blind shrapnel wounds to his legs. Both injured received first aid. They have now been taken to the Kursk Regional Hospital," the acting governor added.

Svetlana Petrenko, the official representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia (IC RF), also reported on June 29 that law enforcement officers had recorded evidence of a missile attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on residential buildings in the village of Sukhinovka in the Glushkovsky district of the Kursk region, as a result of which a local resident was injured.
