More than 10 people died in Sudan mine collapse

More than 10 people have become victims of a partial mine collapse at a gold mine in northeastern Sudan. Seven more workers were injured. This is reported by the Associated Press News agency.
"The collapse of the Kersh al-Fil mine occurred last weekend in the desert town of Huaid in the eastern province of the Nile River," the publication clarifies.
The company said it had stopped the excavation and repeated its warning to the miners not to work at the site.
On May 22, 289 miners were stranded at a gold mine near Johannesburg, the largest city in the Republic of South Africa. According to media reports, the workers were at the collection point, and the mine's owner provided them with food. Her representative said that after the inspection of the mine, the workers will begin to rise to the surface.
