In Moscow and the Moscow region, due to the forecast for heavy rains, a "yellow" weather hazard level has been declared, that is, potentially dangerous weather conditions. This was announced on Sunday, June 29, on the website of the Hydrometeorological Center of the Russian Federation.
The warning period will be valid from 18:00 Moscow time this day to 23:00 Moscow time on Tuesday, July 1, as indicated on the forecast map.
Rain is expected on the territory of Moscow and the Moscow region on these days, sometimes heavy. At the same time, from 21:00 Moscow time on June 30 to 21:00 Moscow time on July 1, forecasters do not exclude that there will be strong westerly and northwesterly winds gusting up to 15-20 m/s.
On the morning of June 29, Evgeny Tishkovets, a leading specialist at the Phobos weather center, announced that about half of the monthly precipitation will fall in the capital next week. In Moscow — up to 37-42 mm of precipitation, in the Moscow region — up to 50-60 mm. Heavy rains are forecast in the next three days, the forecaster warned.
