The FSB has stopped the channel of illegal extraction of Red-listed fish in the DPR

In the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), two residents were detained who are involved in the illegal extraction and sale of especially valuable fish species listed in the Red Book of Russia. This was reported in the press service of the regional FSB.

During the joint activities of the regional directorate of the FSB of Russia and the Rosgvardiya, it was established that the men, by prior agreement, organized the capture of 74 rare sturgeon fish from the waters of the Sea of Azov, their storage and further sale.

The operational materials were transferred to the regional investigative department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for making a procedural decision.
