Tehran announced the detention of a Mossad agent

In the Tehran metro, law enforcement agencies arrested an agent of Israel's Mossad foreign intelligence service. This was reported on June 29 by the IRIB news agency, citing Sardar police spokesman Said Montazer al-Mahdi.

"A Mossad agent was arrested at the Imam Khomeini metro station," the publication says.

It is specified that the detainee was engaged in the production of drones (UAVs) in the west of Tehran and transmitted data on the implementation of the country's defense operations.
