From July 1, for refusing to stop at the request of the traffic police inspector, the violator will have to pay a fine from 7 thousand to 10 thousand rubles instead of the current 500-800 rubles. The relevant document has been published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

Fines for freight transport owners will also increase. For refusing or evading control of the weight and dimensions of the truck, you will have to pay up to 600 thousand rubles. In the absence of a special permit for heavy or bulky vehicles — 3-5 thousand rubles for the driver, up to 30 thousand rubles for an official and up to 150 thousand rubles for a legal entity.

In addition, from July 1, the maximum amount of insurance compensation under the European protocol increases from 100,000 to 200,000 rubles. The absence of a CTP policy will be recorded using cameras while warnings will be issued to violators, but real fines will be issued for this starting in 2026.

In addition, starting in July, banks will begin to refuse new loans to drivers with a high debt burden if they have car loan debt.

Experts also predict an increase in car prices in July to 2% due to seasonal factors and high car loan rates.

The Moscow State Duma adopted during a meeting on Thursday, June 26, a law on the introduction of fines for taxi drivers for lack of certification. The fine for a taxi driver who has not passed the certification will amount to 5,000 rubles. Authorized employees of the Ministry of Transport and Road Infrastructure of the Moscow Region will be held accountable for this offense.
