A fire has engulfed a hotel and several historical buildings in Antalya, Turkey.

A fire broke out in the historical center of the Turkish city of Antalya, engulfing a hotel and several buildings, the DHA news agency reported on June 29.
"The reasons are still unclear. The flames engulfed three work buildings, one of which is a hotel. A lot of fire brigades have been sent to the emergency site," the agency said.
According to media reports, the fire started at 12:00 local time (coincides with Moscow time) in the Kaleichi area. The DHA notes that fire crews are working intensively to prevent the spread of fire in the historic district to other nearby buildings. Due to the narrow streets, extinguishing the fire is difficult.
The Consulate General of the Russian Federation in the country reported that there was no information about the injured Russians during the incident.
On June 12, it was reported that at least 622 guests of a five-star hotel were evacuated in the Turkish resort of Alanya due to a fire. The fire engulfed the hotel at night. It was noted that the fire started from the ground floor. At the same time, three tourists were hospitalized due to carbon monoxide poisoning. The injured hotel guests were accommodated in neighboring hotels.
