A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Last night, the Russian Armed Forces launched a massive strike with high-precision weapons and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) against the facilities of the military-industrial complex and oil refineries in Ukraine. The Dagger hypersonic missile system was used during the strike. All designated targets were hit.

In addition, aircraft, attack drones, rocket troops and artillery of the Russian Armed Forces hit an Israeli-made RADA radar station, workshops for the production and assembly of attack UAVs and their storage sites, as well as temporary locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) and mercenaries in 133 areas.

Units of the Center group of forces liberated the settlement of Novoukrainka in the DPR. As a result of the actions of the enemy group, he lost more than 400 militants, a US-made M113 armored personnel carrier, a Cossack armored car, 15 vehicles and four field artillery guns.

At the same time, the units of the Vostok group advanced deep into the enemy's defenses, and the units of the Zapad group occupied more advantageous positions. The North and South groupings, in turn, improved their position along the front edge.

"Units of the Dnepr group of forces defeated formations of the mechanized, mountain assault brigades, two coastal defense brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade in the areas of the settlements of Plavni, Stepovoye, Novodanilovka, Zaporizhia region, Dneprovskoye and Sadovoye, Kherson region," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

During the day, the air defense forces shot down a long-range guided missile "Neptune" and 102 aircraft-type drones.

According to the Ministry of Defense, since the beginning of the special operation, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have lost 663 aircraft, 283 helicopters, 66,160 UAVs, 612 anti-aircraft missile systems, 24,079 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,572 multiple rocket launchers, 26,765 field artillery and mortars, 37,447 units of special military vehicles.
