In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, one person died when a boat capsized on the Kan River.

In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, one person was killed and two more injured when a boat capsized on the Kan River, a criminal case was opened. This was reported on June 29 in the press service of the Eastern Interregional Investigative Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

"It has been previously established that <...> in the upper reaches of the Kan River, at a distance of 100 km from the village. In the Orye Sayansky district of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, a small aircraft, the Sever—650, capsized," the department wrote on its Telegram channel.

It is noted that as a result of the incident, one person was killed, two more were treated. A criminal case has been opened under the article on violation of the rules of operation of water transport, which resulted in the death of a person.

Investigators are carrying out all necessary measures aimed at establishing the causes of the incident.

On June 8, one person died as a result of a boat capsizing on the Don River in the Volgograd region. A criminal case was opened against the driver. He faces up to five years in prison.
