There are no risks of destabilization of the situation, the Serbian special services and police are strong enough to prevent an attempt at a color revolution, which Western intelligence services have been trying to organize since November last year. This was stated by the head of the Serbian government, Juro Matsut, in an exclusive interview with Izvestia.

"No, there is no such risk (of destabilizing the situation. — Ed.) No. I would like to take this opportunity to praise the Serbian security services and the police for their excellent response. After the rally, a group of hooligans tried to attack the police and vandalize property, but the response of our security services was swift and impressive. All this is part of the color revolution that Western intelligence agencies launched in November last year. But our special services and police are strong enough to prevent such a scenario," Matsut said.

Anti-government protests took place in Serbia yesterday, which turned into clashes between protesters and police. Six Interior Ministry employees and two citizens were injured during riots in Belgrade, dozens of violators were detained, said Serbian Police Director Dragan Vasilyevich.

The full version of the interview will be published on June 30 at 00:01 Moscow time.

Earlier in the day, Izvestia published footage from Belgrade after the start of demonstrations on the Vidovdan holiday, the day of remembrance of heroes and national identity of Serbia. The event was attended by both supporters of President Vucic and protesting representatives of the opposition. Silvana Petrovic, a participant in the protest action, said that the Serbian people "can no longer see or hear the one who stands at the head of power."

Later it became known that at least 36 thousand people attended the rally in Belgrade. The protesters are students. They came to the square with the slogans "Rock!", demonstrated the symbols of their faculties, the flags of Serbia, and also created noise with whistles.
