In Yekaterinburg, the court arrested two defendants in the murder case of previous years

In Yekaterinburg, a court arrested Mazakhir Safarov and Akif Safarov, accused of the murders of previous years. This was announced on June 29 by the joint press service of the courts of the Sverdlovsk region.

"The Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg has considered the investigator's request to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention of Safarov Mazakhir Mokhbaly oglu. He is charged by the authorities of the preliminary investigation under paragraph "g" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation," follows from the publication in the Telegram channel.

It is specified that the defendant was part of an ethnic criminal group that was involved in a number of episodes of murders and attempted murders in 2001, 2010, 2011.

In addition, the court arrested Akif Safarov, who is also charged under paragraph "g" of Part 2 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. According to the press service of the courts, the attackers will remain in custody until July 19 of this year.
