Ilia Topuria, a Spanish fighter of Georgian origin, knocked out Charles Oliveira of Brazil and became the champion of the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) in the lightweight division at the 317th league tournament in Las Vegas.

It is noted that the fight ended with Topuria's victory by knockout in the first round. The lightweight belt became vacant after Russian fighter Islam Makhachev moved up to welterweight.
