Israel has been spying on Iran from within for many years, even before the outbreak of the armed conflict. This follows on June 27 from the leaked intelligence of the camp, which is cited by The Times newspaper.

"Israeli spies penetrated into the very heart of Iran's missile and nuclear programs to conduct years of covert intelligence gathering and assess that Tehran's weapons production infrastructure was much more extensive than previously thought," the publication says.

According to Israeli intelligence agency Mossad, Iran has been "rapidly developing" in the nuclear field, going beyond the facilities in Isfahan, Natanz and Fordo.

On June 25, it was reported that over 700 Israeli spies and mercenaries had been arrested in Iran over the past 12 days. It is specified that most of them were detained in the province of Kermanshah (126 spies).

After that, on June 28, The Times found out that the Jewish state began preparing an operation against the Iranian republic back in 2010. It is specified that the exact location of the production of centrifuges for uranium enrichment at three facilities in Tehran and Isfahan has been established, as well as detailed information about the facility in Natanz has been collected.
