An investigation has begun on the Russian Island of Primorsky Krai into the case of illegal "races" filmed on an amateur camera and published on social networks. This was announced on June 29 by the regional prosecutor's office in its Telegram channel.

"During the monitoring of social networks, a video was revealed about illegal "races" being held at night on Russian Island, which pose a threat to the safety of other road users," the report said.

According to the agency, the investigation will assess the work of the State Traffic Inspectorate, designed to ensure road safety. It is noted that the persons who committed the illegal act will be brought to justice.
