US President Donald Trump's Special Envoy Steve Witkoff will hold talks with representatives of Iran on the nuclear deal. This was reported on June 28 by NBC News.

"Steve Witkoff is due to negotiate a possible agreement with Iran in the coming days to try to stop uranium enrichment in exchange for sanctions relief," the publication says.

At the same time, it is noted that the intelligence agencies of the United States and Israel will "closely monitor" the actions of the Islamic Republic in the nuclear sphere.

The day before, Trump said that the United States would launch new attacks on Iran's nuclear facilities if it received intelligence about the dangerous level of uranium enrichment in the Islamic Republic. In addition, the American leader stressed that he does not believe that Iran has secret nuclear facilities and is not worried about this.
