- The Katyusha rocket launcher volleys became the culmination of the Scarlet Sails holiday

The culmination of the Scarlet Sails Alumni celebration in St. Petersburg on June 29 was the firing of real Katyusha launchers (BM-13). Five rocket-propelled artillery combat vehicles were waiting for the command on the Troitsky Bridge.
One of the legendary Katyusha rockets was delivered to the center of the Northern Capital specifically for the main alumni event. The BM-13 is a unique museum exhibit that has been preserved since the Great Patriotic War. The machines are preserved and maintained in decent condition by the Lenreserv Patriotic Association.
On the evening of June 28, the alumni festival "Scarlet Sails – 2025" began in the Northern Capital. Alexander Beglov, the Governor of St. Petersburg, delivered a welcoming speech. The concert of the holiday was opened by the band 5th MORNING. And the main event of the celebration will be a water and pyrotechnic show on the Neva River with the participation of the brig Rossiya.
The Scarlet Sails holiday was revived in 2005 after a long-term hiatus on the initiative of ROSSIYA Joint Stock Bank, the Government of St. Petersburg and Channel Five.
The concert part of last year's alumni celebration "Scarlet Sails – 2024" received a silver award from one of Russia's main creative awards "Silver Mercury" in the nomination "Best Mass Event".
