UK opened a criminal case after the death of a child in Odintsovo

After the death of an eight-year-old boy due to a car collision in the courtyard of a house in Odintsovo, Moscow region, a criminal case was opened. This was reported on June 28 in the press service of the regional Investigative Committee.

"A 40-year-old taxi driver ran over an eight-year-old boy in the courtyard of a housing complex on Triumfalnaya Street in Odintsovo. The child died," the message says.

The case was initiated on the fact of violation of traffic rules, which resulted in the death of a person by negligence (Part 3 of Article 264 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

Investigative actions are underway.
