French President Emmanuel Macron discussed with his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky at the NATO summit in The Hague the possibility of manufacturing Renault unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in Ukraine. This was announced on June 28 by French Foreign Minister Jean-Noel Barraud on the LCI TV channel.

Barro stressed that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) need support in the production of their military equipment.

"The French Minister of the Armed Forces [Sebastien Lecorny] announced a few days ago about the joint production of drones in Ukraine with Renault. <...> The President of the Republic spoke about this with Vladimir Zelensky during the NATO summit," Barro told the TV channel.

Earlier, on June 27, hearings on the supply of Serbian weapons to Ukraine were initiated in the Serbian parliament. President Aleksandar Vucic said that the supply of weapons is prohibited without a decision of the National Security Council.
