Schoolgirl Stefania Glinka moved to St. Petersburg to attend the Scarlet Sails festival in person. She told Izvestia about this on June 28.

"To be honest, I'll tell you a secret, I moved to St. Petersburg just to get to the Scarlet Sails party in 11th grade," Stefania shared.

The girl clarified that her hometown is Sevastopol, and she moved in 2024.

As the graduate noted, graduation makes her sad, but the Scarlet Sails holiday makes it possible to celebrate the separation from childhood in an unforgettable and joyful way.

"Everything ahead is very interesting and bright, but on the other hand, exciting new horizons, serious steps, and independent decisions are opening up," Stefania concluded.

On the evening of June 28, the alumni festival "Scarlet Sails – 2025" began in the Northern Capital. Alexander Beglov, the Governor of St. Petersburg, delivered a welcoming speech. The concert of the holiday was opened by the band 5th MORNING. And the main event of the celebration will be a water and pyrotechnic show on the Neva River with the participation of the brig Rossiya.

The Scarlet Sails holiday was revived in 2005 after a long-term hiatus on the initiative of ROSSIYA Joint Stock Bank, the Government of St. Petersburg and Channel Five.

The concert part of last year's alumni celebration "Scarlet Sails – 2024" received a silver award from one of Russia's main creative awards "Silver Mercury" in the nomination "Best Mass Event".
