In Ingushetia, two policemen are suspected of selling drugs


A criminal case has been opened in the city of Magas in the Republic of Ingushetia against police officers suspected of selling narcotic drugs. This was announced on June 28 by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the republic.
"A criminal case has been opened against two law enforcement officers of the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the city of Magas, they are suspected of committing a crime under paragraph "a" of Part 3 of Article 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Sale of narcotic drugs committed by a group of persons by prior agreement")," the agency wrote in its Telegram channel.
According to the investigation, on the afternoon of June 3, the suspects sold a narcotic substance to a local resident while at a shopping mall.
Currently, one of the suspects has been detained. The agency reported that a set of measures is continuing to establish all the circumstances of the crime.
Earlier, on June 23, a man, being in the arrivals area of Sheremetyevo airport in a state of drug intoxication, grabbed a child and violently threw him to the floor. A criminal case has been opened into the incident.
