The Governor of St. Petersburg launched the "Scarlet Sails – 2025"
On June 28, Alexander Beglov, the Governor of St. Petersburg, delivered a welcoming speech at the Scarlet Sails festival.
Scarlet Sails is a celebration for graduates all over the world. Russia gives you this holiday. There are brave, kind, sincere people living in Russia. Russia is a country of brave, courageous and kind people, where each of us, from schoolchildren to the president, is loyal to our homeland and our friends," he said.
After that, thousands of the gathered graduates began to chant "Russia".
The Scarlet Sails holiday was revived in 2005 after a long-term hiatus at the initiative of ROSSIYA Joint Stock Bank, the Government of St. Petersburg and Channel Five.
The concert part of last year's alumni celebration "Scarlet Sails – 2024" received a silver award from one of Russia's main creative awards "Silver Mercury" in the nomination "Best Mass Event".
