The IDF announced the elimination of one of the founders of Hamas in Gaza.

Israel eliminated in Gaza one of the founders of the Palestinian Hamas movement, Haham Muhammad Issa al-Issa, who played a key role in the attack on the country on October 7, 2023. This was announced on June 28 by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
The operation to eliminate Issa took place in the Sabra area of Gaza City. According to the IDF, Issa al-Issa served as chief of staff of combat support for the military wing of Hamas and was one of the leaders of large-scale attacks on Israeli citizens and the military.
"In the past, Issa led Hamas' efforts to build up forces in the Gaza Strip, was one of the founders of its military wing, served as chief of the training staff and was a member of the Hamas General Security Council," the IDF added on its Telegram channel.
It is also clarified that Issa al-Issa was one of the last senior Hamas field commanders remaining in Gaza after the conflict began last fall.
On the same day, it was reported that Israel had eliminated the commander of the Shiite Hezbollah movement, Hassan Muhammad Hammoudi, who was responsible for installing anti-tank missiles in the Kunin region of southern Lebanon. It was clarified that during the conflict Hammoudi directed numerous anti-tank missile attacks on Israeli territory.
