In the Kunin region of southern Lebanon, Israel eliminated the commander of the Shiite Hezbollah movement, Hassan Muhammad Hammoudi, who is responsible for installing anti-tank missiles. This was announced on June 28 by the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF).
"The Israel Defense Forces attacked and killed terrorist Hassan Muhammad Hammoudi in the Kunin area of southern Lebanon, who was responsible for Hezbollah anti-tank rocket launchers in the Bint Jbeil sector," the IDF wrote on its Telegram channel.
It is also clarified that during the conflict Hammoudi directed numerous anti-tank missile attacks on Israeli territory.
On June 26, it was reported that Israel had attacked Lebanon to kill two Hezbollah members. The IDF struck and killed the commander of one of the units of the Radwan detachment in the area of the village of Barashit in southern Lebanon. Two hours later, another radical from the Hezbollah observation group was killed in the Beit Leif area of southern Lebanon.
