Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has arrived in Kyrgyzstan on an official visit. This was reported on June 28 by a correspondent of Izvestia.

During the trip, Lavrov is scheduled to meet with the head of the republic Sadyr Japarov and hold talks with his Kyrgyz counterpart Jeenbek Kulubayev. The Russian Foreign Minister will also take part in a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
