In Kharkiv, a 33-year-old local resident threatened to detonate a grenade on the territory of the military enlistment office, the man was detained. This was reported on June 28 by the Ukrainian online publication Strana.ua" with reference to police data.
It is noted that before the incident, a Kharkiv resident quarreled with a stranger at the military enlistment office building. After that, he returned with an F-1 grenade in his hand and began threatening those present.
During the searches conducted in his apartment, another similar explosive device was found. In the criminal case, the man faces a sentence of up to seven years in prison.
On June 10, it was reported that a resident of the Kharkiv region beat an employee of the shopping mall (territorial recruitment center, the Ukrainian equivalent of the military enlistment office) and a policeman with a stick while trying to avoid mobilization. The police said that the 48-year-old man was "wanted for evading mobilization" when his car was stopped by police. Later, employees of the shopping mall arrived at the scene, after which a fight broke out.
